To like fiction more than reality

best and what you thought you even liked to do
But the kids
The youth of today
thinking they know best
I’m not arguing
I’m sure you do
changed your mind
with their opinions and attitudes
so now it’s different today then it was yesterday
not sure what is right
what is safe to say you enjoy
To say you enjoy-
‘Cause there's always a case against it. Something designed to put you right off
Just let the fantasy play itself out
and if you should change
like to do what they do
Will the kids accept you?
Wouldn’t laugh or stare in your direction
or will you still have the trace on you
Is it you or the clothes and the music you like that needs to change?
Well, I don’t know do you?
The trace of a person that did not fit in and said the wrong things
and your in this identity you don’t fit but you can’t change ‘cause your
convinced in your mind that it is right
to change who you are
just ‘cause of what some people said
long ago
so your floating away
flying high
away from humanity
in some kind of balloon.
