What do you mean what have I got to be unhappy about?
Yes, I know about the soldiers, limbless. I know about the kids with cancer.
What the kids in Africa? Yes, I know.
I see them. I hear them.
The homeless. The hungry. The hopeful and the hopeless.
You think I don’t care, is that what you’re saying?
You think I have it easy, your comparing me and them?
You think because I’ve seen them, limbless, seemingly happy and racing for charity I’m going to cheer up too?
Because I have my limbs, my three meals a day, a roof over my head…
