I don’t care if I’m clean or not
if my hair is washed
or combed
I don’t care how long I’ve worn these clothes
don’t tell me
‘cause I don’t care,
if I'm starting to smell
and there’s stains on the front of my jeans baked beans and spaghetti sauce,
I just don’t care at all,
you can tell me
laugh point ‘n’ stare
you can throw me outta places,
say I’m not welcome there
spin me round
til I'm dizzy
confused, in rage
a wounded animal
I will not care any more
I will shuffle on in chains
with untied shoelaces,
I will not even eat
I think
‘cause I’m getting fat
that’s what I reckon
I ain’t good enough
to be here
so I’ll just try to blend in
face away
and be invisible
the more I smell
like a dead animal,
tired of trying to lick it’s wounds
the more I get seen,
commented on,
I rebel...
and I get seen,
in even more trouble
but I won’t care anymore,
if you won’t.
I won’t pretend
let it all go
I won’t try to smile for the audience
they can call me a misery
I’m never going to smile again
I want to sit here and cry
scream out,
just let go,
drive you all to distraction
‘Til you won’t leave
‘til I say what is wrong
but nothing is wrong
I just don’t care anymore
